Google has today launched a Youtube channel for the upcoming Kenyan elections. The channel will be run in collaboration with social news gathering website storyful which will curate content from across Youtube concerning the elections and post it on the channel. The channel will host in one place all the news, views and grassroots reporting about the Kenyan election.

The channel will also host the livestream of the Kenya’s presidential debate on 11th February.

This is not the first time Youtube has been used to monitor elections. It has been used previously in Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon and recently in Ghana.
