Samsung East Africa’s Robert Ngeru, at the launch of the Galaxy S4 launch yesterday announced that the phone will come with an Accidental Damage Warranty dubbed Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) warranty. ADH has been incorporated into the existing 24 month warranty on the S4.
The ADH will cover two incidents over a 24 month period. The incidents can be two screen damages or two liquid damages, or one incident of each. A Samsung Service Center of the customer’s choice will replace the screen or board free of charge.
To benefit from ADH, customers MUST register their S4 devices through the Samsung E-Warranty service within 30 days. If they don’t register at all or on time then they won’t benefit from the warranty.
