Zuku will from February 15 2016 increase their prices of their fiber internet, both to homes and offices. The lowest package for homes will now be Ksh. 1,799 and Ksh. 7,699 for offices.

The price increase will also come with a increase of bandwidth except for the 1MBps package. Customers on the 10Mbps package with now get 15Mbps and those on the 20Mbps one will now get 30Mbps.

This price and bandwidth increase will probably cause some of Zuku’s 70,000 customers to downgrade their packages.

With the entry of Netflix into the Kenyan market, Zuku is likely to see an uptake of its fiber to the home product. This new development, especially the bandwidth part, could be a reaction to that.

The new prices and bandwidth are as below;
