1. Your first phone?

Motorola. I just remember that it had a long aerial.

2. Between Facebook and Twitter, which one do you prefer? Why?

Honestly as at today? None! I have used social media since 2008 and seen a lot, achieved some. lost some and I think I am at that point now where I need a total break. I am tempted to totally log off but the nature of my job leaves me with no option but to be there.

3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Running regional offices for Qube and most likely traveling around the region.

4. Any question for us? We’ll publish our answer as well

Who defines good and bad? and Why?

It’s a matter of perception and context. So there’s no one definition and it’s depends on the person and the circumstances.

5. What would you do if you were president for a day?

I would allow every Kenyan to enjoy their right to photograph this beautiful country without being harassed by anyone. I would also commission a video for our national anthem.

6. What’s your favourite book & movie?

Book: Purple Cow – Seth Godin. I enjoy reading it over and over.

Movie – This is a hard one. Let’s just say that they are many.

7. Who or what inspired what you do now?

I found myself in Advertising and this is by what Steve jobs once said ” you can only connect the dots looking back. This is where you say there is a reason behind meeting someone in life.

8. If you were to change jobs, what profession would you get into? Why?

A Lawyer!! I am told i am a good negotiator. I also think i am ;).

9. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Reading people’s minds. I hate being in the dark especially when a decision is to be made.

10. Which 5 things would you want to have if you were deserted on an abandoned island?

  • Deo
  • Phone (+ data)
  • Generator
  • A weapon (gun)
  • (don’t post this) face cream (I’m super oily) 😉

11. If you were a car, which one would you like to be? Why?

LandRover 110. Firm and ready to take any path, rough or smooth.

win

12. If you could be in any other band in the world, which one would you like to be in? Why?

Eeeh. This isn’t for me :(.

13. What would you say is the most important lesson you’ve learned while working in the advertising industry?

You learn something new everyday. Client is always right despite knowing there is not much an agency can do with just a little freedom. When $#*t hits the fan, Agency is always at fault!!! So in short, always be prepared!!

14. Share something interesting about yourself with our readers.
