Remember Saleh Wanjala, the man who hang precariously on the helicopter that was transporting Jacob Juma’s body to his burial site? The Bungoma Hangman, as he was baptized after his escapade, suffered some injuries which were treated before he was taken to court. In court, he denied that he had hang onto the helicopter despite there being video and photographic evidence.

Anyway, the ‘Kenyan James Bond’ has inspired a new game on Android that is available from the Google Play store. The game, aptly titled Bungoma Hangman, is basically a guy hanging onto a helicopter and you win points in the game by covering as much distance as possible while hanging on. It starts once you press the play button that’s on the right side of the screen.

You win points in the game by covering as much distance as possible. This involves avoiding birds and eletricity poles. There is also food in the form of sukuma wiki (kales), ugal and kuku (chicken) to replenish your energy so that you are able to hang on for a long period.

It’s pretty challenging and the best I could do was 67 meters. It’s pretty fun though.
