Equity Bank is once again at the forefront of revolutionizing how banking is done Kenya with the launch of a range of digital products. The suite of digital products named EazzyBanking promises to give an easy, comprehensive and secure banking experience. This was borne out of an observance of customer banking trends whereby the digitally savvy bank customers are increasingly embracing self-service technology which assures them of convenience, choice and control.

The new products are:

1. EazzyPay

Customers will be able to use this product to pay pay bills or buy goods and services from their phone using their Equitel Line, Equity Bank App or Mobile money (M-pesa or Airtel Money).

2. EazzyApp

This is the new Equity Bank app and from it customers will be able to send money, pay for goods and services, get loans, pay bills and check your account balance. It is available on the Google Play Store and the iOS App store.

3. EazzyLoan

This feature will allow customers to borrom upto Ksh. 3 million from their phone. They will be able to do so via Equitel or the EazzyApp.

4. EazzyChama

This is a product that is targeted that is targeted at chamas and will help them manage their group activities like record keeping and banking transactions. The feature will be available at eazzychama.co.ke

5. EazzyNet

Equity Bank has rejigged its online banking proposition and added more security. It is available at ke.equitybankgroup.com/eazzynet.

6. EazzyBiz

This product is targeted at businesses and helps them manage their cash and enables them to make payments and manage their cash flow and balances across multiple currencies and locations.

7. EazzyAPI

Equity has made their API available to developers who can build apps that can integrate to their systems. The API is available here equitybank.co.ke/eazzyapi

So far Equity’s journey to digitizing the bank which started a year ago has started bearing fruits with the number of digital customers rising steadily. As at the end of September, Equitel mobile loan disbursements accounted for 84% of all loan disbursements compared to 16% branch loan disbursements.
