The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) for up and coming African entrepreneurs has announced the 1,000 entrepreneurs that will be part of the second cohort. The initiative was launched in December 2014 and the first cohort of 1,000 entrepreneurs from 51 African countries went through the program last year.

The application period was between January 1st 2016 to March 1st 2016. Over 45,000 entrepreneurs from 54 African countries applied this year with the highest numbers of applicants coming from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda and Cameroon.
