Tune Hotel in Westlands will rebrand to Ibis Styles Westlands in the second half of 2017. This is after AccorHotels, which owns the Ibis Styles brand, signed a management agreement with the property owner, QueensWay Group.

Ibis Styles Westlands will operate as an economy hotel. It will have 280 rooms and facilities such as the Utamu restaurant, Grab & Go coffee shop, Tusker Lite Sky bar and Kilele rooftop lounge.

AccorHotels already has a presence in Kenya and is managing Fairmont Mara Safari Club, Fairmount Mount Kenya Safari Club, and the Fairmont Norfolk in Nairobi. Plans are in place to open a third hotel in Nairobi under the more upscale Pullman brand.

The Tune Hotel presence in Kenya was shortlived having just launched its first brand in the country in June last year.
