Following the unrest of the 2017 elections, many families and individuals are in need of help in affected hotspot areas. RescueBnB Kenya is a volunteer network to  match people in need with those who are willing to help. Spread the word and sign up on Twitter at @ResqueBnB or on the website rescuebnb.com.

If you are not able to provide housing, you can send in a monetary contribution. You can do this by following these simple steps;

For Safaricom users;

Food or donations of any other kind can be dropped at Uchumi Agha Khan Walk or Uchumi Koinange Street in Nairobi. The things that are most needed Include; rice, beans, cooking oil, unga, milk and groceries.

Host Rescue Kenya is also requesting to have volunteers and counselors on board to assist with the work that they’re doing. You can tweet or DM their account.
